The team that will be participating at the 11th African Games in Brazzaville, Congo from 4 to 19 September 2015 has been announced by SASCOC. The athletics team consist of 60 members and no fewer than 23 athletes are from TuksAthletics, once again highlighting the strength and dominance of the Club in South Africa.
Henricho Bruintjies and Akani Simbine along with Carina Horn, all in the sprints, will spearhead the Team and would like to prove to their African counter parts that their latest performances was well earned. Team SA consists of a good mixture experience and youth and for the majority, it will be a 1st time participating in an event of this nature which will contribute to their development in future major events.
In the Para Athletes team, one athlete from TuksAthletics has also been included. Carley Lomax, who will representing South Africa for the 1st time, will also be out to show that she can compete with the best sprinters in Africa.
