In Amsterdam, over the same weekend, Charlene Potgieter competed at the Netherland National Championships. She won the women's triple jump with a distance of 13.07m.
Hannes Dreyer competed in the Norvidden Sundvall Wind Sprints in Sweden, also on 17 June. Dreyer finished second in the 100m wih a time of 10.43s and also competed in the 200m which he won in a time of 21.35s. Ruan de Vries also competed at the meeting in the 110m hurdles. Carina Horn came second in the women's 100m and also competed in the women's 200m alongside fellow Tuks athlete Estie Wittstock. They ended fourth and fifth respectively.
