On the 10^th of October 2024, the UP Department of Architecture will host the ‘Boukunde Industry Day’, which builds on the success of the inaugural 2023 Career Fair. Partnering with the UP Department of Career Services, the Boukunde Student Committee, and various industry partners, including the Pretoria Institute for Architects (PIA), the UP Department of Architecture, will again host an event, which is geared towards improving the visibility of our exit year students, and to foster relationships between the students and industry partners.

Activities on the day include presentations by the Department of Career Services, various practices, professional bodies and volunteer associations from the Built Environment industry. There will be exhibitions by both practitioners, and students, to foster discussion and engagement. The event is also planned to coincide with the PIA AGM. During the day there will be refreshments available for purchase, in support of the Boukunde Student Committee fundraising initiatives.

All professionals and practice representatives, Department of Architecture students, and the Built Environment at large, are welcome to join us on the day, we look forward to hosting you!
