HOW IT WORKS

The Heads of Department and design lecturers from the architecture departments of universities and tertiary institutions across Africa are invited to nominate their top students to submit entries to the Boogertman + Partners Architectural Design Scholarship Award Africa 2018. Submissions are open to students who have completed their Bachelor of Building Arts, Bachelor of Building Science or equivalent degree and are studying towards an honours degree. Students can also directly submit portfolios provided that their submission is endorsed by the school that they study at (see How to Submit your Portfolio.)

A panel of judges consisting of prominent industry leaders, academics and the media representatives whittles down the first round of submissions to five finalists who will participate in an intense 36-hour design challenge at the offices of Boogertman + Partners for the prize.
