Our BSc (Agric) Animal Science program is one filled with hard-work and lots of studying, but also filled with just as much fun and experiential learning! Our 2023 final year cohort had the incredible oppurtunity to visit the Dew Fresh milk factory in Gauteng recently. 

Elri Botha, a final year student, had the following to say about the visit: ''It was quite an eye opener seing the middle piece in a long chain of production. From cow that is milked on farm until it reaches the consumer.''

Our students study various production systems as a part of their degree, including large stock / dairy management. We are grateful to industry partners that are willing to show our students the real-life, practical running of their enterprises - Making our students a cut above the rest!
