AIM Labs

The AIM Labs (IT Laboratoria) are on Hatfield Campus located in the Technical Services Building, next to the SciEnza Building across the Fighter Aeroplane that was donated to the University of Pretoria.

The AIM Labs are primarily utilized by first-year students for a compulsory AIM (Academic Information Management) module. AIM Modules are part of the Faculty of Engineering Built Environment and Information Technology (EBIT).  AIM is a compulsory module assisting students to improve their proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, a bundle of software developed by Microsoft, (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) over two semesters.  Additional skills taught are the use of electronic Library Catalogue and electronic Library Databases to access electronic resources necessary for students to do online research.

Informatics (INF183) is another module lectured at the AIM Labs.
