Sokwakhana Zazini won the 400-hurdles for under-18 boys in a time of 49.53s at the Gauteng Schools Meeting in Germiston on Saturday, 11 March. His time is the second fastest ever by a youth athlete. Only William Wynne (USA) has run a faster time when the American set a time of 49.01s in 2007.
Zazini also won the 400 metres on Friday evening at the same event running a time of 46.23s.
