Congratulations to our athletes with excellent results at the Gauteng Secondary Schools’ Athletics Champs held on Friday 13 and Sunday 15 March at the Germiston Stadium.

No less than 7 Championship Records were broken by the following athletes:  

Tlotliso Leotlela, grade 11 - 100m Boys u17 10.61sec
Vuni Madonsela, grade 9 - 800m boys u17 1:51:55 & - 1500m boys u17 3:57.7
Lewis Ngwenya, grade 9 - 400m boys u15 50:21 & - 800m boys u15 1:57.05
Jubilant Motlhake, grade 12 - u19 boys triple jump – 14.78 
Clarence Munyai, grade 10 - 200m boys u17 21.07  (* broke record in semi-finals, did not run in Finals)

The team claimed 11 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals at the event.
