TuksTennis's Young Star Mehluli Don Ayanda Sibanda

15 year old Mehluli Don Ayanda Sibanda, a learner at the TuksSport High School and member of the TuksTennis Club, has made his mark in the Internantional Tennis Federation (ITF)  u/18 Junior Circuit, that recently took place in Zimbabwe, Harare. Over the last few months Mehluli has climbed the world rankings from 680 to 353 in the Junior Circuit.
 
He thrashing highly rated Egyptian Mohamed Abdel-Aziz in three sets in quarter finals in Zimbabwe , before beating British fourth seed Alastair Gray 7-5 6-3 to book a final with Britains Luke Hammond. Eventhough he lost in the finals Mehluli sees himself, with hard work and dedication, having a good chance in playing at the Junior Grand Slams next year.
 
In the 2nd ITF tournament in August in Zimbabwe, Mehluli made it to the semi finals losing to the winner of the tournament Richard Thongona 6/3 7/6 in the u/18 Catagory.
 
In Namibia grade 4 ITF in July he came 2nd - u/18.
 
Well done to this great young man who has great fighting spirit.
