Student Committees

There are various student committees that are affiliated under the banner off the SRC which help to foster culture, community engagement and sports for the student body at the University of Pretoria. These are:

Student Culture - This is a substructure that facilitates various cultural events that try to cater for the student body at the University of Pretoria. The Student Culture Committee (STUKU) at the University of Pretoria is a multi-cultural organisation responsible for the management of cultural activities for students.  Stuku is a student committee tasked to execute all culture activities on behalf of the Student Representative Council (SRC). Student Culture serves as the helping hand to all cultural needs at UP. You can also view their activities via their Instagram page or their Facebook page.


UP RAG - This is a substructure that facilitates community engagement at the University of Pretoria. Tuks RAG is the official student-driven, non-profitable fundraising and community service organisation of the University of Pretoria dedicated towards developing students through their active participation in community engagement activities both theoretically and practically. Constant updates are always via their active Facebook.


Student Sports Committee - This is a substructure that facilitates and coordinates various sporting codes for the student body at the University of Pretoria. They are a dedicated and effective at management and coordination of sporting activities and events to the benefit of all students, irrespective of whether they are day students or members of a residence, day house or a society. To constantly keep up to date with them, you can also follow them on their Instagram page which is constantly updated.
