According to Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Student Governance (CSG), the Student Discplinary Advisory Panel (SDAP) is considered as a Service Provider. Furthermore, Service Providers are allowed to execute their function in terms of their own Constitution. 

Therefore, SDAP renders a very specific service to accused students. Accused students refers to students who are currently facing disciplinary action for an allegation of misconduct or contravening a rule of the University. 

It is imperative to understand that SDAP does not represent accused students at their disciplinary hearings, however we do provide students with procedureal advice regarding the disciplinary process.
