If you are running for the position of executive committee (EC) member on the Student Culture sub-council, this is the article for you!

There are two rather vital requirements for standing for STUKU EC. You either have to have served on the executive committee for a residence or day-house or been a general committee member for STUKU. You also have to have a GPA of 60% or above. In this role, your opportunity for growth in not only personal realms but in your leadership ability is very much present. Responsibility and challenges are catalysts for this growth. But it’s not all hard-work, there are many fun-filled benefits to being a STUKU EC. Serving the student population and empowering the cultures in the UP community can be incredibly gratifying. 

The applications open on the 3^rdof August and close the 16^thof August 2018. The application process begins with a form that can be collected from the Roosmaryn reception building or downloaded from our Facebook page. After this procedure, an interview will be conducted where you will state why you are running for the specific portfolio and answer a few questions. The interviews will take place on the 21^stof August and the elections will be on the 24^thof August.
