Alexa built on last week's Cape Classic Invitation tournament' experience, where she came 2nd, by winning the Bloem Junior Open title this morning.

The same group of girls ended in the quarters and semi's with Alexa playing Laura Buck (Gau) for the 1st time this year. Laura turned last week's tables on Hannelize Human by beating her this time round to make her way into the finals.

Alexa beat both KZN contenders - Bronwen Smithers (who had beaten Megan Page) and then faced Cayleigh Conradie in the semi finals. Followed by a convincing 3-1 win over Laura Buck not only claimed the title but gave Alexa the no 1 slot on the SA rankings.
