Jacques Kruger has spent many a day on the University of Pretoria squash courts. First, as a junior player while at Die Hoerskool Menlopark, and then as a student studying BSc Honours Quantity Surveying.   He has represented North Gauteng, the University of Pretoria (TuksSquash) and Squash South Africa at the highest levels as a junior and senior athlete. He continues to play First league and represents North Gauteng A at the interprovincial tournaments.

In 2020, Kruger was appointed by TuksSquash.  As the TuksSquash head coach, he is involved in multiple training groups, where the playing strength ranges from beginners to elite student-athletes, as well as being team coach of the University of Pretoria representatives at the annual USSA tournament.

Kruger playing and coaching experience make him the ideal candidate for the task at hand – helping student-athletes perform at their peak while obtaining their degree.
