TuksSquash has one Mens Team and Two Ladies teams entered into the Northerns Blitz League running over the next two weeks.

The Tuks Mens 1^st team (TUK001) played Uitsig in the opening round of the Blitz league at the Home of Champions, the TuksSquash courts on Monday 04 February. The highly talented young team featuring Michael Wood, Craig Stephens, Jacques Kruger and Jono Esteves, were pumped and ready from the start. They had an impressive start with Jono, Jacques and Craig all winning 3-0 in a stunning display of the standard of TuksSquash. Michael had things more difficult but pulled through with a classy 3-1 victory.  The end result was Tuks winning 12-1. The team is very determined this season as they have made the finals for the past 2 years and this has set them up for a very positive season.

We are fortunate at TuksSquash to have two ladies 1^st League teams (TUK001 and TUK002) both participating in the Blitz League. TUK002 played Pretoria High School Old Boys in a very tight and thrilling encounter at the Home of Champions. TUK002 is a very young but top quality team featuring Julie Lee, Boipelo Montwedi, Michaela Janse van Rensburg and Siobhan Hall. Siobhan started things off with fantastic 3-2 victory followed by Julie winning 3-0, Michaela winning 3-1 and Boipleo wrapping things up with a nail biting 3-2 victory.

The TUK001 ladies league had a bye, but we are looking forward to seeing them in action on Wednesday.

Positive results all round from the TuksSquash Teams kickstarting things off for this year.
