European Union & THRIP Partnerships

Industry and international Research Partnerships assists researchers and coordinates funding applications to various funding agencies. In particular cases, this also involves industry. Funding sources include the local Technology and Human Resources for Industry Programme (THRIP), managed by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, and the Department of Science and Innovation, as well as various European Union (EU) funding programmes such as the Horizon Europe Programme (2021–2027), the flagship programme of the EU, and other EU programmes (including the Era-Net co-fund, M-era.Net, Eurostars and the Capacity-building programme for Higher Education from the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency).

The unit is also involved in the negotiation and conclusion of various grant agreements, consortium agreements, partnership agreements, research collaboration agreements, non-disclosure agreements and material transfer agreements that are linked to the mentioned funding sources. It also monitors compliance with the respective programme guidelines.

The work programmes linked to the Horizon Europe Programme are uploaded for reference purposes.
