This means the consumer still has to be cautious on expenditure. Not to mention the yo-yo fuel price and medical aid premiums. Its definitely not happy times your pocket. You also can’t help but wonder what next year holds for the consumer!
I’m not the guru on economic forecasting so to be honest I do not know what the future holds. But I do know one thing though; next year’s TSG membership rates are not heavy on the pockets. In fact in comparison to the projected increment of other gym rates for 2010, TSG’s rates have not altered that much. The convenient and hassle free debit order contract which is valid for a 12 month cycle is still at R90 (Stop order) and R120 for non-students. This option here will help you save the world! Surprised, say bye to the month to month filling of a registration form (paper) and save the rain forest. In addition, it means you do not have to carry cash in your hand to register monthly another: tree saved. This option is cheaper than joining monthly (R130) for 10 months (call your Accountant and do the math)
Of course we are not the restrictive type of gym which only offers one option. So for the average student with some cash flow constraints the R1300 option onto your student account will permit you access to the gym for the whole of 2010. You do reap the benefits of getting body assessments and exercise programs and a chance to win a 6 months Men’s Health or Shape magazine subscription. If you think the student account thing has too much red tape just pay R1000 hard cash at the gym and call it a day. For other members of the public dreaming to join this option just pay R1200 hard cash and join the dream team.Copyright © University of Pretoria 2025. All rights reserved.
