Our sometimes deep pockets have certainly become less so this year. Fortunately economists have forecasted the stabilisation and decline of the recession. This is already evident in the food prices which should be a welcome relief for consumers with the festive season fast approaching. This is certainly a welcome relief for the always broke students.
This is the time when students go buck wild for the sake of enjoyment. The time for a camping trip, road trip, exploring the unique outdoors, binge drinking without any worry or hitting the beach. You should relish the opportunity to take a break from the turbulent times.
If you are going to do something this holiday make sure you do something affordable, after all there is still 2010 to consider. The giving season can certainly dent not only your wallet, but your parental provider’s wallets too.
Whether it is drinking, travelling or partying that you will be doing make sure you are smart about it. Just make sure you can reminisce without a bitter taste in your mouth. I know there is so much competition in your daily routine, so this festive season do something that is non-competitive and relaxing. Make sure winning is not as important this season, maybe allow others to win. Give in ways other than physical gifts and you may find that it leaves you feeling tranquil and at peace.
Enjoy the festive season!
