According to Penelopie Esterhuizen, Course Coordinator at CE@UP, “the course was booked and paid for in less than 1 hour and 40 minutes”.
The purpose of this three-day course, which is usually presented during the July recess, is to prepare senior LLB students for aspects of legal practice and to provide legal skills in respect of Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Evidence and Legal Practice.

Prof Pieter Carstens and Dr Philip Stevens from the Department of Public Law were the course leaders.
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof André Boraine, expressed the Faculty's appreciation towards the role players and said that a course of this nature will be impossible without their involvement.
