She is the first female in 15 years and the only representative from Africa to serve on the Council that consists of 19 members. Dr Kuschke also attended the Association's Working Party Meeting on New Technologies, Prevention and Insurance to finalise the national questionnaires for the World Conference in Paris in May 2010.
She also attended the European Insurance Law Conference on 23 October 2009.
