Memorable graduation ceremony for youngest ever TuksLaw doctorate

On the eve of International Human Rights Day, the Centre for Human Rights held its annual graduation ceremony. This year’s event, which took place on 9 December 2016, was very special for a number of reasons, including the graduation of the youngest ever TuksLaw graduate, Emile Zitzke.

The Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria is pleased to announce that alumnus Emile Zitzke successfully defended his doctoral thesis earlier in November, setting the record for the youngest person to obtain a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree in the Faculty.
