The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) is running an article-writing competition in which the winner will get the opportunity to attend the budget vote in parliament and a DIRCO hamper, courtesy of the department.

Below are the three topics to choose from (please choose only 1 topic):

• SA’s membership in BRICS (advantages, disadvantages, recommendations)
• Agenda 2063 – how do you see it benefiting Africa
• SA’s role within the African Union – considering that there is an upcoming African Union Summit taking place in SA and during Africa month.
