The next parliamentary and presidential elections take place in Namibia on 28 November 2014. Given the close ties between the Namibian and the Zimbabwean government, a report just made accessible on Zimbabwe’s presidential elections of March 2002 is revealing and invites for closer scrutiny when it comes to electioneering and friendly ties among Southern African liberation movements as governments.
