Dr Mogomane Khomotso Y. Masemola is a neonatologist with over a decade of clinical experience. She holds an MBChB from the Medical University of South Africa, is a Fellow of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa (FCPAED), and holds a Certificate in Neonatology. She currently serves as Head of Neonatology at Kalafong Tertiary Hospital and as Secretary of the United South African Neonatal Association (USANA).
Dr Masemola is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. She has served as examiner, convener, and moderator for the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA). In addition, she leads the Luswane Loluphilile Quality Improvement Project and is a Local Principal Investigator for a national neonatal research study. Her professional focus includes quality improvement, evidence-based neonatal care, and health system strengthening.
