Dr Mamokgethi Rangaka is a Paediatric Cardiologist at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, boasting over 20 years of experience as a clinician, lecturer, and researcher. She is currently affiliated with the University of Pretoria, where she contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Her clinical and academic interests focus on paediatric echocardiography and cardiac catheterisation

She is particularly passionate about the early detection and management of congenital heart diseases in children, with the aim of improving their quality of life and long-term outcomes. Dr Rangaka is a member of the Gauteng Province Pulse Oximetry Screening Task Team, dedicated to enhancing the early detection of critical congenital heart diseases through newborn screening initiatives.
