Team SA won their first pool game against Lesotho (79-3) on Sunday 11 December and kept on track for Games glory with a 49-29 win against Zimbabwe on the Monday.
SA netball team then continue to win their strongest opposition, Botswana with 36-28. In their final pool game the team came up trumps with 55-14 against Namibia and claimed victory when they finally grabbed gold against Botswana in the finals on Friday, 16 December with a score of 32-25.
