Pretoria - 1 July 2013 day one of the University Sport South Africa (USSA) Netball Championship presented by the University of Pretoria, started with full speed. Universities from across the country are taking part in the championships; there are a total of 36 tertiary institutions that make up the tournament. The teams are divided into various groups as follows; Super League, Premier League, Section B and Section C.
The scores during the tournament are calculated by looking at the teams in question’s total number of points (2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a lose), if two teams have the same points, final positions are then determined by the goal differences (goals for minus goals against).
