Guided Tours

The University of Pretoria Museums are open Mondays to Fridays, weekly 08:00 - 16:00. To make an appointment, please allow 2 working days to schedule and confirm your tour. Please contact us at [email protected] and a One-Time Pin for access onto Hatfiled Campus will be sent to an email address and cell phone number.

Opening Times: Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 16:00.

Closed on Public Holidays, Weekends and for the end of the academic year usually Mid-December. Kindly note the updated rates per person and the new museum packages as combined fees.

New Museums Tour packages (Guided Tours):

1. Introductory 1 Hour Museum Tour: R80pp

2. School Tours: R120 per hour (R80 per Teacher / Adult)

3. Mapungubwe Exclusive Tour: R100pp

4. Conversational Tours (one-on-one): R80pp

5. Sculpture Route Tours: R80pp

6. Researchers & Visiting Scholars Tours: R80pp

7. Bespoke UP Alumni GLAM Tours: R80pp

8. Corporate Tours: Invoiced / TBC customized

9. Treasure Tuesday Tours (TTT): Free to UP Students & Staff (11:00am - 12:00pm)

10. Tukkie Students Tours (TST): Free to UP Students (with valid student card)

11. UP Staff Orientation Tours: Free to UP Staff (with valid personnel card)
