It is with great sadness that the Faculty of Law has been informed of the passing of our colleague and friend, Professor Chris Nagel, on Sunday, 18 August 2019.

In a UP Law Facebook post, Dean André Boraine indicates that Prof Nagel's 'contributions to the Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria and academia have been immense, and that his death is a great loss to us all.  He will be sorely missed.  The Faculty's staff, alumna and students are keeping Professor Nagel's loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.'

The funeral service for Prof Nagel will take place at the NG Gemeente Waterkloofrif at 09:30 on Friday, 23 August 2019.  The church is situated on the corner of Ridgeview Road and Hartbees Street, Waterkloof Ridge.
