The workshop is aimed a raising awareness about the Tribunal's services in terms of the Companies Act (the Act) as well as to improve stakeholder engagement with the academia. It will also focus on matters of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Social and Ethics Committee as well as lessons learned over the last few years of implementing the Companies Tribunal's mandate and proposals for statutory reforms.

Speakers will include the Chairperson of the Companies Tribunal Adv Simmy Lebala SC, University of Pretoria Professors Piet Delport and Stefan van Eck, University of Witwatersrand Professor Tshepo Mongalo (also a member of the Specialist Committee on Company Law) and the Companies Tribunal Registrar Ms Tebogo Mputle.
