Academic profile
Dr Mokone is an a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law and holds the degrees LLB (North West University) LLM (North West University) and LLD (North West University) (Mercantile Law).
Academic and professional experience
Mokone started her career as a Legal Intern at the Commission for Gender Equality in 2016. She was also a Trainee Investigator in the Office of the Public Protector of South Africa from March 2019 – March 2020. Her previous involvement in higher education before joining the Department of Mercantile Law was a Junior Lecturer appointment she held at the North West University.
Teaching activities
Mokone is currently teaching Business Law and Commercial Law.
Areas of specialisation
Her areas of specialisation include Company Law, Banking Law as well as Commercial Law.
