The Golden Key International Honour Society is a non-profit academic organisation founded in the United States in 1977. The Society’s mission is to enable members to realise their potential by connecting individual achievement with service and lifelong opportunity throughout South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Bahamas and the United States. The Society’s development in South Africa began in 1999 and includes chapters at the universities of Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Free State, North West, Witwatersrand, KwaZulu-Natal, Cape Peninsula, Western Cape, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan, Rhodes, Pretoria and Johannesburg.
