Cameron vd Burgh shone at the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup 2015 when he nabbed the gold medal in the men’s 100m Breaststroke on Day 2, beating Singapore based American swimmer, Kevin Cordes. Van der Burgh won his ninth FINA/airweave World Cup medal in the 2015 circuit to remain the overall leader.
Points in Singapore were only recorded on Day 2 as Day 1 finals had to be cancelled due to the high level of haze measured in the swimming complex.
The sixth meet of the 2015 FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup will take place in Tokyo (JPN) on October 28-29, opening the third and last cluster of this yearly circuit.
