Cameron vd Burgh heaping gold in Moscow

There was no stopping Cameron van der Burgh in the 100m breaststroke, as he led the race from start to finish, banking the gold medal in an Olympic A Qualification time of 59.27. The USA’s Nic Fink and Cody Miller rounded off the medal podium in 59.52 and 1:00.07 respectively.
 
On Tuesday, 11 August van der Burgh, Le Clos and Brown claimed gold in the men's 50m breaststroke, 100m freestyle and 400m freestyle respectively. The trio will now head for the second leg of the Fina/airweave Swimming World Cup in Paris-Chartres, France from August 15-16.
