The players competed in three different categories, including the senior men, senior women and junior men, over 36- holes on one of Pretoria's most prestigious golf courses.
The senior men's competition was well contested with some great individual performances during the first round. The final blow came from Werner Ferreira who played a brilliant 68 shots on his final round following his first round of 73 to take the title.
Werner is a registered first year sport science student and also specializes his studies in golf through the TuksGolf Academies.
Second year B Com student, Eugenie Clack, walked away with the honors for the Women's title while the Junior Men's title was highly contested between Teaghan Gauche and Marco Loubser that forced this title to go to extra holes.
Teaghan was victorious in the sudden- death playoff and defended his title successfully.
