The morning foursomes matches was closely contested over the first nine holes, but it was Tuks that took the early lead after only dropping one point and the scoreboard was 3-1 in Tuks's favour. Good performances came from captain Francois Coetzee and his partner the new comer to the team, Werner van Niekerk.
The singles matches saw the team from UJ coming out of the corner with great performances from their players. After the halfway stage the team from UJ lead the match standings. The last few holes saw some great comebacks from the Tuks players especially Jaco Prinsloo that won 5 holes in a row in order to turn his game around to 1-up.
Unfortunately dangerous weather conditions forced the players of the course and the match was concluded to the current standings of the various matches. The singles matches finished in a draw with meant that Tuks was victorious in this years Intervarsity.
