Day 2 – TuksSport High “A” turned up the heat with Michael Scott firing a 3 under par 69 and Jason Smith firing a 2 under par 70 putting them at the top of the leaderboard on 4 under par, 6 shots clear of Dainfern College on 2 over par. TuksSport High School “B” was lying third on 3 over par after Alex Brandkamp signed for a 73 and Albertus Venter signed for a 74.

Day 3 – With a tough course layout in the final round the TuksSport High School “B” team finished in a respectable fourth place after final rounds of 75 & 74 from Brandkamp and Venter respectively. TuksSport High School’s “A” side made it a nervous affair when Michael Scott finished with a well deserved final round score of 72 and Jason Smith had to settle for a 78 finla round score. Luckily both these players kept their nerves to claim the 2012 Dainfern Golf Championships and successfully defend the title after finishing two shots clear of Westville “A”.

Michael Scott's three solid rounds earned him a third place finish in the individual standings on 1 under par 4 shots behind the eventual winner Clayton Mansfield on 5 under par.
