Werner Ferreira came 2nd at the SA Amateur Stroke play held on the 15th of February at the Hyatt Regency Oubaai Golf Resort and Spa. Werner finished on 11 under with a final round of 68.

Werner Ferreira and Tertius van den Berg were selected to represent South Africa in a test match against Scotland at Leopard Creek.

Nobuhle Dlamini won the 44th Annual Eastern Cape Championships held at the prestigious links Humewood Golf Club last week. Nobuhle is currently  the Women's Golf South Africa (WGSA) number one ranked player.

Magda Kruger (TuksGolf) laid down her marker by winning the GNGU Junior Girls Open in superb style.  Magda, who has just returned from participating in the Annika Invitational in the US, was playing in her first event on home soil in 2013.  Services Golf Club hosted the tournament and although the morning started with a light drizzle, perfect weather prevailed for the rest of the day.   After a level par first round, Magda came out for the afternoon round determined to lift the trophy.  With an eagle on the 9^th, five birdies and only one bogey, her gross 66 was unbeatable.
