UP staff, masters and doctoral students can make use of the Research Commons on all campuses

The Department of Library Services recognises the varied needs of different scholarly audiences. The  Research Commons aims to balance those needs and conveniences with a host of opportunities from a quiet research space to collaboration and interaction. Located on all UP campuses, the Research Commons provides quality services, expert help, and seamless access to research information.

This facility enhances the Library's commitment to supporting postgraduates, academics, and researchers in their research endeavours. It also contributes to the University's research output. The space includes workstations, seminar and group discussion rooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a separate lounge area that provides for relaxation.

Swipe card access grants entry to registered Masters and PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, and UP staff. 

The Research Commons is available at the following libraries:
