The exhibition was up in the Merensky 2 Library from 3 – 16 April 2018. Visitors were welcome to pay homage to her by writing their messages in a Book of Remembrance.

The African National Congress Youth League Tukkies Branch Executive Committee and the collective Progressive Youth Alliance membership thanked the library for contributing some of the items to the Winnie Madikizela Mandela Memorial Lecture that took place on Friday the 13th of April 2018 at the Law Auditorium, University of Pretoria. They were grateful that the Department of Library Services found it fitting to celebrate the life and time of Mam’ Winnie with a great exhibition and they extended their sincerest gratitude for this collaboration with the Department of Library Services.
