Match 1: Tuks won the toss and elected to field first. The Tuks bowlers took to the task and bowled the Dutch batsmen out for 126 in 34 overs. M Swart was their top scorer with 49 before he was caught and bowled by M Faasen, who was the pick of the bowlers for Tuks with figures of 10-1-25-5. Tuks reached the total in less than 30 overs with D Hewitt being the top scorer. For the Dutch, M Bukhari was their best bowler with figures of 10-4-41-4.
Match 2: Tuks won the toss and elected to bat. The batsmen put in a great effort and ended their innings on 294/6 after 50 overs, scoring 100 runs in their last 10 overs.
Hewitt was again the highest scorer for Tuks with 101, his second century in two days. For the Dutch, Bukhari was once again their best bowler with figures of 10-0-56-3. The Dutch approached their innings in a very positive way and turned the match into an exciting game, reaching their target with threeballs to spare. T Grunjters was the top scorer for the Dutch and ended on 84 not out. T Gouws was the best bowler for Tuks with figures of 10-0-33-2.
These matches proved to be a great contest between the two teams.They also served as excellentpreparation for the upcoming tournamentsawaiting the Dutch team, and for the National Club Champs campaign the Tuks team have to face.
