Assupol TuksCricket won the NCU T20 Club Competition for the 4th year running after beating Pretoria High School Old Boys (PHSOB) in the competition’s final on Sunday 21 February 2016.

Tears of joy, tears of sorrow, expectations met and expectations missed. The 2016 Varsity Cricket tournament is now over and history will record the name of Tuks as two-time champions.

The #StripeGeneration tasted their first defeat on Wednesday, 28 January, when Maties beat them by nine wickets.

TuksCricket played their first double-header on Tuesday, 26 January 2016 and continued their surging Varsity Cricket run when they claimed their second consecutive victory after defeating UCT by 52 runs at the NWU-Puk Oval.

Assupol TuksCricket started the Varsity Cricket campaign off well, winning their first match against Pukke at Senwes Park on Monday, 25 Janaury 2016.

This year's Varsity Cricket competition will be hosted in Potchefstroom again from 25–30 January. It will be very similar to last year's competition, with only a few minor changes and improvements.
