Having completed a BSc in Environmental Science, I joined the CERU team at the beginning of 2023 as a research assistant. I am currently pursuing my honours degree in Environmental Management with a focus on ecology. My role involves assisting with fieldwork and data collection, managing and analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of datasets through systematic cleaning.
Through my involvement in both the Elephant Conservation Program and the Dune Restoration Program, I have developed a strong interest in birding and herpetology. This has deepened my appreciation for biodiversity and reinforced my understanding of the importance of our work. My passion for ecology, combined with the analytical skills I have gained, has enabled me to support the team’s research and contribute to meaningful conservation efforts.
