An Organization of diverse organizations of all sizes and types – where else can some of our smaller and more remote museums and universities meet in such a hospitable atmosphere with giants like the Smithsonian and Yale?
Range of Expertise – Museum directors, art historians, folklorists, material conservators – we are all of these people, meeting together. Most other meetings are either much bigger or more specialized, making it much harder to meet in small groups across disciplines.
