UP CVZ investigates endemic and emerging zoonotic viral diseases of public health significance in humans, animals and the environment. As a part of the UP OneHealth4Change network, UP CVZ encourages collaborative research that involves partners from multiple disciplines within the UP but also including regional, national and international collaborators. |  |

UP CVZ strives to generate new knowledge through surveillance, building diagnostic capacity, epidemiology, pathology, pathogenesis and ecology of zoonotic pathogens in humans and animals and identifying intervention strategies for effective disease control. |  |
