On 19 February 2023, Professor Adekeye Adebajo was interviewed on Newzroom Afrika to discuss the publication of his book on former United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali. 

The book, titled "Boutros Boutros-Ghalli: Afro-Arab Prophet, Proselytiser, Pharoah, and Pope", was published in 2022 by Routledge and is the first historical biography in English on the former UN Secretary-General. In the book, Professor Adebajo examines Bourtos-Ghali's career within the political, social, and cultural contexts from which he emerged. 

In the interview, Professor Adebajo remarked on Boutros-Ghali's approach to role as Secretary-General: 

Boutros-Ghali consistently believed that multilateralism and the international order was the most important thing, and that sovereignty was a way of protecting weak countries against more powerful ones... He had a very broad expereince both through his very Western liberal education and his experiences in global South diplomacy that prepared him for the job very well.
