Digital Humanities mini-workshops

The Centre for the Advancement of Scholarship (CAS), is hosting two leading scholars working in the area of Digital Humanities at Trinity College, Dublin. Professor Poul Holm and Dr Charles Travis have done excellent work in the area of Digital Humanities, especially in training postgraduate students. Professor Poul Holm is also leading a programme on global environmental change and was involved in the establishment of the European Observatory on the New Human Condition to facilitate humanities-led research on global environment. Prof Holm will bring along Mr Lars Kirdan of the SAS Institute working in the area of climate change;
The two scholars will be hosted by us on 9th and 10th of April, 2015 and will present two mini-workshops with the first one titled ‘Digital Humanities’ on the 8th April 2015 from 12h00 until 16h00, and the second one titled ‘Environmental Humanities’ on the 9th April 2015 from 14h00 until 17h00.
