The 2022 Biennial Africa Climate Smart Agriculture Stakeholders Conference - Call for Papers

Conference Dates: 14-16 September 2022

Location: Hybrid - Physical conference to be held in Accra, Ghana and Virtual participation via the Zoom platform.

Organised by: Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and its key partners. 

Conference Theme: Introspection on CSA Actions to Strengthen Accountability, Resource Use and Impact in Africa.

Sub-Themes:
1. The role of digitalization in advancing CSA and the mechanization of the smallholder system in Africa. 
2. The nexus of CSA and the mechanization of the smallholder systems in Africa.
3. Bottom-up and system-wide capacity development approaches to enhance CSA practices.
4. Strengthening the support of extension and advisory services to ensure CSA compliance among smallholder Farmers in Africa
5. The contribution of agroecology to CSA

Important Deadlines:

  • Deadline for submission of abstracts   30 June 2022
  • Deadline for submission of full paper   05 August 2022
  • Participation registration deadlines      31 August 2022

A few competitive partial scholarships will be made available for postgraduate scholars (MSc, MPhil, PhD) and young scientists from universities and research institutes with high quality papers.
