During 2010 I started in both indoor and field competitions and later on started to shoot SANAA outdoor competitions as well. My first international competition was the IFAA world field championship in Germany which I won. I shot a few junior female world records during this championship.
My first SANAA National competition was the SANAA Outdoor Championships hosted by TuksArchery in Pretoria. At the end of the outdoor round which we shot in very wet conditions my score was not bad (1391). This improved most of the Cadet girls SA records. After this I started to chase after each and every SA record. This was the only way to measure my abilities and progress as there weren’t a lot of cadet/junior girls.
Special moments and achievements in my archery career is most definitely each and every time I shot a SA record or World record. There are well over 120 record certificates in my collection. This was at one stage the only way to measure my progress as there were only a few junior female archers in SA at the time.
