To celebrate the Portuguese Language Day (5th May) and the 20th anniversary of the Literature Nobel Prize being awarded to the Portuguese writer, José Saramago, the Diplomatic Missions of Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Mozambique and East Timor, in collaboration with the Portuguese lecturers from the University of Pretoria, organized a conference on the 16th May about José Saramago, Jorge Amado and other authors from CPLP countries, as well as an exhibition about Saramago at the Merensky 2 Library. You can visit the exhibition until the end of May.
